We're not having a bonfire, just some fireworks in the garden.....tv will be turned up to full volume so that the dog won't hear them toooo much.

we had dropped the idea of going to the firework display, because of the 'mosoon like' rain forecaste 'torrents of rain ...structural damage likely...go to the highest hills etc',i mean we nearly built a ******* ark because of those ******* muppets, any way i,m glad it was ok in this area anyway...cause its all for 'cherrity' etc,. i was told we saw £ 7,000 fireworks in under 30 mins!

Who is off to a bonfire tonight? I'm not! Just come back from a top bonfire. Potato pie, red cabbage, black peas, parkin and treacle toffee and loads of wine. A proper do!

I was playing the music at our village bonfire party - 3,000 people - 5,000 watts of classical music and 30 minutes of top fireworks and the rain kept away - it was great - I just hope no one was having a nap nearby when I did the sound check with the William Tell Overture at 4:30

I did get told off for doing 'Hi Ho Silver Awaaaay' when William Tell was played during the fireworks - the crowd were really up for it - we had them rehearsing their 'OOOOOOHs and AAAAHHHHS' before hand

Three nights with a traumatised dog is just too much.
