I live on a boat and my mail goes to my house which my daughter lives in. She screens it as she phones me to tell me what has come, and if it is junk she... I guess she puts it in the recycle bin. So I am fortunate in that I do not get to see it. Anything interesting I ask her to open but I see her a couple of times a week and get my mail that way. Long answer to a simple question... sorry.
Do you look at recipes and get excited about cooking and then never cook them?

I do that often but usually find that the final essential ingredient is missing from the shelves of the Co-op

Cabbage, leeks, olives. Also would not have entertained the thought of black pudding, sushi, haggis.
