I’ve seen it all now and am more convinced than ever that BBC Breakfast News is a home for the clinically bonkers.
Every morning I look in wonderment at Carol Kirkland, developing hypothermia in the Blue Peter Garden - 10 feet away from a warm studio.
Now, this morning we have the posh business bird, visibly shivering and looking close to tears, as she read her piece to camera in a pre-dawn Davos where the temperature must be close to minus 10.
Cue, back to the studio with Bill and Sian laughing about her probably freezing to death.
Can anybody think of a more insane news programme (not counting Fox News of course which is top of a league all of its own)
Ken

Ah! Faux News, where Nixon was a good guy really and the GOP is still alive and well!

They probably refuse to come in, while there's a smoking ban.

Today, Carol was being drowned out by a noisy blackbird and the last minute of the article was spent with her and the two in the studio talking about the times she'd been coldest outside - without the slightest sense of how mad they all are. Still, at least on Friday we have Susannah Reid being mad which is always preferable to Sian
