Bit early I know this, but in view of some muffin having a wedding, I thought that we'd better start planning THE event of April next year now.
It will be the same as usual, at the Owl, in Rodley, details of B&B etc can be provided on request or nearer the time.
We're suggesting the 16th April to avoid that wedding weekend and we're also planning an early joint 40th that day for all TOG friends so we hope you can join us.
*sits back and waits for expressions of interest*

I'd have thought the wedding weekend would have been ideal. No problem getting accommodation in Rodley as the world and his wife will be in the capital and isn't there going to be an extra day off?

Has there been problem getting accomodation in Rodley for previous bashes? If not, this year should be no different.
Oh, and are the prices for the Calverly per person or per room - i.e. no single supplement?

Oh, and are the prices for the Calverly per person or per room - i.e. no single supplement? There hasn't been a problem getting accommodation as far as I know other than last year the Calverley Arms was full up at bash time I believe. Hence the alternatives. I don't know what their rates relate to as I've not stayed there but I think Glen has booked in there and possibly Rose so maybe they might know?

Seems to me that there may be a good turn out and quite rightly so! Candy (and Wayne) deserve it for all their hard work in previous years and to help them celebrate this year of course!. We will have to kick the kids off the slide early again

Can't really comment on the rates at the Calverley other than to say they looked reasonable! Worth it for the company anyway!

I think its £50 or there abouts. Looks nice on web site. It is - very.
However, the Owl is fabulous for food and home made chips and real ale and a beautiful beer garden (if the weather holds) and homemade chips - as those who have been before will know.
*hopes everyone will play nicely whether TOGgy or not*
