Ignore what Trav said....if he's overweight then I'm Zsa ZSa Gabor! And he's not that bald either...and certainly not ugly

The question is - what do you do with your truncheon?

The question is - what do you do with your truncheon? Well, if you must know, I handed it in 12 years ago when we were issued with the ASP baton!

Peek and Kiwi, I know Trav is "lovely and worth meeting" and I'm looking forward to his bash. I was merely making fun of him in the same vein that he made fun of himself - and I'm sure he realised that. My apologies to anyone who thought I was being deliberately nasty to him - this was not the case.

No no, WW....no need to apologize, honest! I know you said it in jest! I was merely trying to wangle a drink out of Trav

Then get yourself to the bash and let him be the proper gentleman and get us all the first drink!

We might just be able to manage it, you know.
When is it? (Not second week in July, cos we're on holiday - ooooh, that might affect ability to get to York do, oooer...)
Cos if it was sort of earlyish in June, sis-in-law is supposed to have her baby about 21 May, so we could combine a trip to see sproglet with a bash. Sort of.
Hmmm...
We probably won't manage to make it anyway. But I'd like to.

Well Steve, seeing as Trav's coming 'plain clothes', any chance of you wearing a pilot's uniform?

...and I never got around to actually doing anything. Would anyone be interested in a Kent bash? I know there are quite a few togs in the region now, and some others might travel from a little further afield. Anyone tempted, either PM me or post a reply here, so I can think about what size hall/pub/tin shed/phone box to look for. I'm thinking maybe between now and June - before everyone starts going on holibobs. Trav Anywhere along the London Victoria to Dover corridor would be great. (remember that thread ?) Send the final details and put me and Woofers down for a double and a single. (one of us is bound to get lucky............)

Of course I remember that thread... that's how it all began between us!
I'll take the double - Jodie has to sleep somewhere.
