do you have a list Adam of who going to the do ? Julie, I have a list of those who've said they would be coming and another much smaller list of those confirming attendance and letting me know their lunch selections. I reckon we're up at about 20 but that is a gut-feeling at this stage. I'm not passing the details to the Amberley until this Sunday, which should give everyone everyone plenty of time to confirm. I've told the Amberley that the numbers might flex a bit and they are happy with that. Their worry is that people who don't let me know their catering requirements may have to wait quite a while for their lunch because it will be Easter Weekend and the Amberley will be packed. We're OK on space because we have the Culver Room just for the GlosTOGs but unbooked meals might be a challenge. Once I've got the names and numbers I'll PM everyone so we all know who's coming. I'll also PM the "uncommitted" and ask them to say one way or the other. You can lead a TOG to water but you can't make him/her drink (especially if alcohol is available)

Adam, I haven't let you know about the menu as yet 'cos I'm not 100 % we can get there, but I will let you know by Saturday (24th).

Presumably people can join the fun without eating and therefore don't need to book the catering?

Presumably people can join the fun without eating and therefore don't need to book the catering? Of course, Whitby, but drinking is compulsory. That's what Mahatt told me, anyway! It would certainly be good to know who's coming so that I can give the landlord of the Amberley an idea of what he needs to plan for. It would also be good to be able to let all the GlosTOGs who they're going to see. Does that mean you are venturing down this way?

I shall now ensure you a rush of confirmations and menu requests.
I shall NOT be able to make it to the Glos bash as we have friends coming to visit from New Zealand that weekend and as yet are unsure as to the timing of their arrival. We have not seen them for over 10 years so expect to be spending a lot of time catching up (on news and alcohol consumption!!!)
I hope you all have a brilliant time.

I need a break before my head explodes...could have done with four days at home hibernating.

I have sent you my food order, Mr Zappel. Do I have to bring my best table manners? I've seen it Sir Blim. Are you sure you want to buy all the GlosTOGs a bottle of Chateauneuf du Pape each? Fair enough. We've all seen your offer now. Try wheedling your way out of that one!
