I'm in the middle of Unseen Academicals (Pratchett) at the moment. I had a major buying session last weekend, so I've just finished Even Money (the latest Dick & Felix Francis). I've also got the latest Jermy Clarkson hardback on the go - it was only £6 when I bought the other 2!

I am also in the middle of Unseen Academicals! Ordered it Friday from the local bookshop here and it arrived the following morning! Cost me 24.30 euro, but I consider it worth every cent.

Just finished the new novel from Audrey Niffenegger (author of 'The Time Traveller's Wife'), 'Her Fearful Symmetry'.
It was weird. But quite good.

I only "found" Terry Pratchett earlier this year (read Johnny and the Bomb by accident) so I'm making my way through his back catalogue.
Currently reading Monstrous Regiment. I find it a little different. It's a very serious story with many hilarious typically Pratchett bits cleverly woven in.
I would recommend the John Wyndham books to anyone that has not read them. Best to try to put yourself back into the '50s or '60s frame of mind if you can.

I have a wander through Sir Terry P's back catalogue a few times a year; I can always find something to suit my current mood. I've read Night Watch at least ten times, if not more, and have just read Thud! again for the fifth or sixth time. In fact I've read most of the books at least five times, except for Eric, which I have only read two or three times.
Just having my first re-read of Unseen Academicals and picking up a fair number of things I missed on first reading.

I have tried and tried and tried to read Terry Pratchett. Lots of people I know really love his books. It is like my head is empty and the words just float through and my brain cannot engage in them.
I did really love the book thief.
Now looking for something grippiing.

Have you read the Thirteenth Tale by Diane Setterfield? That is really good, or I thought so at any rate. Here's a review[/b].

I got the new Margaret Attwood for christmas. I was unimpressed. It is basically Oryx and Crake told from a different angle. I found it frustrating and thought it lazy, I fear she has lost her touch.

I'm reading the latest Sir Tel book (the one with the dribble-proof cover), and The Gourmet Gardener by Bob Flowerdew

Dribble proof cover - that sounds like an interesting title.

Trying to get through Sandi Toksvig The Chain of Curiosity....I say trying , because I'm just having such a laugh. Maybe I should go back to setting the alarm for 07.30 and read this instead of missing WUTW so much - it would give the day a bump start that's for sure.

Re-read the Thirteenth Tale after recommending it, re-read Unseen Academicals, re-read the Myth Hunters series by Christopher Golden, re-read Guards! Guards! and now re-reading Men at Arms.
The last new book I read was Stephen King's latest, the Dome, which I thought was reasonably good.

I'm reading the fourth book in the Shardlake series by C. J Sansom. I have read all the books so far and I enjoyed them. Give them a try....

Read them all, Frank! At least twice each book, and not quite ready for a re-read yet. Might be coming up on time for a new Shardlake to come out, though...maybe?

Enjoyed it on the whole but not sure who the proof reader was. As Terry would say - needs a bit of a smack
