Following on from the conversation on my birthday thread........ There's Iona, MC, Daxie and I'm sure others that are north of the Mersey. Shemmy, Fids, Jim, Rose & Lily and others (?) Cheshire / Wales and ME, ME, ME and Parsely (not seen her in ages?) right in the middle. Any suggestions? Maybe end Jan / early Feb???

Ooooooh gets all excited. Now that I've met the lovely Iona and Merseycat, I would love to meet other Togs. I have got the route to Liverpool sorted, but I don't mind, where ever that would be central, for others. *waits all 'cited* xxxxx

By the way...I believe there's going to be a fab bash near there on 2nd November - in the presence of the wonderful Deadly. ;D

Blimey! Didn't realise there were so many up round this way! I'm happy to organise with recommendations for venue from others. How about Chester / Nantwich? Jan / Feb / March?
Dora - I'm not sure about 2nd but could well be an also ran if there is still room nearer the time.

Sounds good if it is not too short notice for people. What do you reckon............. Do lunch (a long one) then head over to quiz? Maybe make up an extra team - as long as we are not gate crashing Dora's Do. Dora please speak up if you're not happy with this.

You'd have to let me know very soon though cos my tickets are all gone, so I'd have to get some back from the pub, before Warren sells all his too! A brill place for lunch is Bent's Garden Centre. They've won European awards for their Christmas displays and I believe it's all in place now. You could spend hours and a lotta dosh in there! You'd have to keep plenty back for the quiz though....for the kiddies!

Yes, it would be nice to attend a bash at this end that I haven't had to organise! I won't be doing another one, I can tell you. Just can't get people to be bothered any more as there are so many bashes in everyone's local areas these days, people seem to prefer to stay local.
Not sure if this one could be organised in time for Dora's quiz though - it's a little soon isn't it? And we have Togs very local to us here who are not attending the quiz, so they would miss the chance to say yey or ney to the bash - we've got Gingernutt, Maggs, Jennie Denyfink and Alf R Romeo very close to us here.
A Liverpool bash would be a great idea, Lyn - plenty of choice there.
Anyway, I shall just wait to be told where and when and look forward to it!

If they didn't want to attend the quiz, it could be an afternoon bash. Bents is very close to the E Lancs Road for Liverpool - and the M62 and M57 are within a few miles. The restaurant at Bents is so big, it wouldn't need anyone to organise anything really. Just be a case of turning up, I would think. And it's certainly worth a visit. Why am I plugging Bents? They wouldn't give a raffle prize!
