No, it is not in the middle of nowhere. It actually has a pleasant micro-climate as most of the snow falls in Worcester.
At a get-together yesterday, a number of TOGs pleaded with me to have a bash in Hereford, and therefore I am posting to see what interest there would be.
The date I have in mind is in October - maybe at the beginning of the half-term break, but that is flexible.
Could people indicate their interest plus an idea as to which Saturdays in October appeal?

So no-one else want to come to Hereford Way to sell the bash to people Windy. NOT! Any idea of pubs yet, are there B+B's / hotels nearby for those that might get legless "tired", does the pub you have in mind do food (and can we afford it), if there a play area for those that might bring TYGS....... ?

Thank you for the coaching, Mahatt. The pub I have in mind is called The Bell Inn at Tillington. It has a play area and the link for the pub can be found hereThe pub is located in a small village 3 and a bit miles north of Hereford. There are guest houses and B&Bs in Hereford, and a centrally-located Travelodge. The food at the Bell is exquisite and is set in lovely countryside Is that better?

Sounds good to me, and about time too. It will make a nice change and a change of scenery so as long as I am able to get the time off of work I will be well up for a Hereford bash. *Waits impatiently for Windy so say when*
