There's very little free parking in town, but along the side of one road there are several free parking spaces with double yellow lines at either end. Whenever I drive up this road, without fail, someone has parked on the double yellow lines but cosily snuggled up to the last legally parked car - as if the traffic warden isn't going to notice. Reminds me of an ostrich.

But if the car has it's eyes shut the nasty traffic warden won't see it...................

us Brits have always been good at these things,i even thought of using my much disliked neighbours car registration numbers ,but i thought he might spot my devious act..since we park alongside each other!

Just off the main road through Dunstable, a very busy side road had a car parked near the junction when they repainted the double yellows following resurfacing.
A Range Rover managed to park there every weekday for several weeks until the council could fill in the gap.
Not only was it inconsiderate it was bl88dy dangerous. But then typical of a 4x4 wanting to avoid paying to park.
