Well, sort of..
Not being one who follows the effete paths of celebrity chefs, I've just prepared a Tesco Chicken Jalfrezi (Rice in one half, Jalfrezi in the other).
Following the "pierce plastic cover several times" instruction, I was thinking "hmm - seems uncommonly tough." And when I was peeling it off, seems the packing machine had put two of them on - no wonder I was bending forks!
When peeling both (grrr) of them off, I was impressed to find that it stops halfway - aha! this will be so you can get the rice out first!
A good idea, but sadly flawed. As you upend it to get the last of the rice out, the bl**dy Jalfrezi trickles out the holes previously pierced.
At least I now know why chefs swear so much!
