They look nothing like cannabis. They look similar to Avocados, but I'd have thought you'd remember planting something like that.

A bit tricky this, as I can't see the picture, but did you plant them, or did they just pop up?
And have they been out all winter? That would reduce the options a bit.

Got it now!
Thanks to Mahatma.
They do look like Avocados - or possibly Horse Chestnut. Have you planted any conkers?

I had a sunflower one year grow out of a hanging basket. Puzzled me no end until I saw a Coal Tit grabbing sunflower seeds from the feeder and sticking them into various flower containers.

They just appeared over the last month and I did not plant them although I was a bit worried some enterprising young egit might have planted them if you know what I mean.

The horse chestnut and squirrels (or, if there is a tree close enough, windfalls) sounds about right. Mo, I suggest you get them out of the window box and, if you don't want to plant them in your garden, maybe someone else would like them.
PS Carl, just what have you been smoking/cooking in herby scones? *grins*

I can't see the pics either. Why can I see the pic and some of you can't how strange. I couldn't see it til I followed the url, I belive it's down to the on-line storage site you're using though I could be wrong. I've copied it to mine so everyone should (hopefully) be able to see it.

I couldn't see the pics until I got to Mahatma, they are not cannabis, and as others have said, they are more likely to be horse chestnut
