I would just like to say what a good idea it is to have ' Gardeners Plot'. As I said earlier I only have a small strip of earth and no garden but all ready you have been a lot of help. I'm sure over the next few months you lot with green fingers will have helped a lot of Togs.

Added to which, although I'm quite keen on the garden, gardening strikes me as being rather hard work.

Hard work? With you being christened as you are? You're not a himposter are you Mr Strubs? I rather think, Lil, that Mick's interest in "urbs" is culinary rather than horticultural. I'm sure he'll correct me if I'm wrong.
But as to Mo's point, I agree entirely. I think this board is a great idea. I know there are a lot of TOGs out there who are passionate gardeners, and I suspect that I may make a fair bit of use of them over the coming months!
