About ten years ago I bought this plant from the Hampton Court Flower Show. It bloomed well the first year then we never saw it again. Last year two small plants appeared and now this year I have this lovely one. Can anyone tell me what it is (my memory has failed me - again).

It looks to me like a type of Lavatera or Mallow. We have something similar coming in our garden.

That's it Rose. It's a Mallow and I think it's called Zebra. Has anyone else any further information?

It seems to be a variety or cultivar of Malva sylvestris. I don't think it can be 'Zebra' as it is darker in colour than that one. Does anyone have any further information please?

Lavatera variegata or 'Blackheart'? Thanks Faery for that suggestion. I'll investigate.
