Does anyone know where you can buy the seeds for this hanging basket plant. PML like to grow his own plants but these we all ways have to get from the garden center as we can not find seeds anywhere.

This is a strange plant...I had one for at least 4 years in a pot by my front door, and then all of a sudden it went!
About 2 weeks ago, I bought a new one, and planted it out in a pot, only for it to be eaten by some horrid insect within 2 days. I was not best pleased.
So now, I have 3 new ones going out for the day, and coming in at night , and they are being treated with kid gloves, because they're such a great plant once they get going.
Sorry Lollie, I've digressed...I have looked for seeds myself, but never seen them, that's why I always buy the plant . Incidentally, one of the new ones I have has the name "Million Bells Trailing Fuschia", so I wonder if the seeds have to be started off in say Feb/March rather than planting straight out?

They are quite cheap to buy so I always get the plants. I've never seen seeds on sale. I thought it was a petunia variety rather than a fuschia.

Million Bells is a hybrid - so you're unlikely to find seeds. Once you've got a few young plants, though, they're quite easy to raise from cuttings in Sept.

'ello daaaaaarlin !!!
Nice to be referred to as a "young limb" - even though I'm one of the originals.
I suppose a fireworks display is out of the question ... ??

Lollie, do a Google for Calibrachoa seeds - the name was changed recently since, although they may look like petunias, they are not petunias.
'Million Bells Fuchsia' is a variety of Calibrachoa, not a fuschia. xx xx

Of course, that's why you can't get the seed; hybrids either don't produce any, or they don't come true to the original. These plants have to come from cuttings.

Sorry but they're not hybrids, but a different genus to Petunia - see my post above.

Shuggie - since you're someone who knows far more about gardening than I do, and ubdoubtedly always will, I hope you understand why I'm quite enjoying this. *grins* I think it was just an understandable mix-up between the surfina petunias and the Calibrachoas - they look almost identical and the only way to tell them apart is by checking their DNA and breeding habits - whatever the latter might mean. xx

If that were true we would be able to grow precious few plants from seed: the vast majority of garden plants are hybrids.
