My first one (and only one so far) came out a few days ago. I have a lovely Scarlet one which is full of buds, but none have opened so far. Here's my salmon pink one (I don't know what it's called) Do others like these crepe-paper-like blooms too?

I have a beautiful purple one, I believe it is a Himalayan Poppy. It's petals do look like crepe paper.

I have purple ones, pink ones and red ones. They are not in bud yet, as i moved them and they were'nt happy about it. Plenty of leaf growth, so i'm hoping they'll flower later on.

My Oriental Poppies aren't out yet, but they're all in bud. Started off with just 5 bought from a Bring&Buy stall years ago -we must have about 105 now, they're everywhere - pink ones, salmon ones, red ones, flame ones - I love them, but hubby doesn't, so we've started thinning them out. from last year. Biggest display is over where we buried our cat, Poppy, 2 years ago!

My red ones are bursting and will soon be out, but I don't they are they as brilliant as yours are.
