Remember the rhody and the magnolia that snuffed it?....Yup, Vine Weavel. I need to clear the entire are and kill the blasted things. Any recomendations for an effective blanket killer short of telling Bush that Bin Laden is dug out in my garden?

You could try something called Provado, but don't use it on anything you are going to eat.

Depends on the size of space you're dealing with, and whether you object to using icky bug type things to deal with the problem. But how about nematodes? CLICKY

I do prefer the biological over the chemical and I'll certainly give the nemasys a go. I will use Provado if that fails but the cat gets about a bit in the garden and the Provado data sheet advices keeping pets away.
