After all the rain today, my "show" of oriental poppies is/are looking a bit bedraggled - but there are plenty of buds for the next round.
[Nearly lit the fire today, it's been so cold - heating boiler is up the creek]

I have a well established peony ( in the front garden) which has just about managed to hang on to it's blooms...but I also have one in the back garden, that has been moved twice which has lost all 3 of it's blooms. I'm just glad my bedding plants have settled in *sighs*.

My one peony plant hasn't yet started to bloom. It's the commonest pink one, whose name I forget. Perhaps comeone can tell me what it is. If you tell me the name I'll recognise it.
I hope that this weather will improve before it does start to bloom. It has lots of buds on it.
