Can I ask that, if you want to post a picture of your plants on here, and the more the merrier, would you reduce the pixel size first please. Some of the really big ones take ages to download for anyone using dial up, and they don't fit into an average screen once they are downloaded, which rather misses the point. Thank you.

It was probably me. Sorry to all those who took a long time to down load it.
Please can someone tell me (in simple terms that even I can understand) how to reduce the pxel size? I'd like to be able to do that my photos don't fill the screen. Sometimes it means that the sender's details have to be reduced in size, and also pushed to one side.
Thanks.

Rev, if you use Photobucket to load your pictures, you can resize them on their site.
Sadly, I don't know how to resize any other way, lol.

Here is my first resized attempt. She is Mme. Isaac Pereire (Bourbon 1881) and she sits right outside my back door. The wonderful perfume wafts into the house when the door is open. She's a picture this year. But, Fi, I haven't yet counted how many blooms she has on her.

That's looking fabulous Rev.
Unfortunately our white climbing rose lost most of the blooms yesterday in the heavy wind and rain, so I hope yours has survived the weather .

What kind of shot is that you are talking about? I hope it's nothing to do with the subject which has emerged on the Lollie thread on the Forum today.

Sorry, I didn't mean to cause any angst. I think I was swayed to start this post by some of the recent threads on the notice board and bashes board. Murph sent me this, which is another way of doing it without investing in specialised and usually expensive software.
I hope that helps.

Unless by any chance the wee creep you refer to is bindweed.
Next question?
