Steamed jam roly poly
6 oz self-raising flour 2 oz breadcrumbs white 5oz chopped suet -beef or veggie water to mix
mix ingredients together and make into a scone like dough with the water. roll out a strip about 7-8 inches wide spread with warm jam roll up and wrap in grease proof paper and steam for about 3 hours or wrap in a floured cloth and boil for 2 hours.
Serve with lashings of custard.!!!
Can't tell youwhether it is good as I don't like suet puddings myself --reminds me of school dinners----- but I like the custard.
