Beef Carpaccio with rocket and parmesan, olive oil and balsamic...scrummy.
Roast Lamb, roast spuds, mashed carrot and turnip, runner beans and loads of gravy...I do love a roast.
Brie, Stilton, Blacksticks Blue and biccies...don't 'do' sweets.
Oh and loads of Cava and some nice port for with the cheeses!
What would yours be?

Pate and toast with caramalised onion.
Roast Lamb, roast root veggies (spuds, onion, butternut squash), peas and green beans. Yorkshire pud, and lashings of gravy.
Berry Pavlova and cream.
As it is the last supper, who cares about the calories!

Pate (local Brixworth variety) and toast is def for starter.
Main would probably be lamb, new tatties and cauliflower cheese (and mint sauce of course)
I don't really do puddings normally, but love banana fritters with syrup
Cheese (Stilton, Wensleydale and a really good mature Cheddar) and biscuits
All washed down with either a decent wine or beer (Tanglefoot or local Frog Island Natterjack)

A smoked seafood platter (from the Plockton Inn please)
Hand dived scallops in a white wine sauce with asparagus and new potatoes
Creme Brulee
and I know you're 'supposed' to have white wine with fish but I'd rather have a bottle of Moondarra Shiraz.
*sigh*

Oh, you can't beat a bit of rocket and the odd shaving of parmesan !!!!!
But when it comes to the Last Supper it has to be egg and chips and a slice of white bread and butter ---followed by a slice of my dear old mums apple pie with a dollop of clotted cream. Bliss. Of course a glass of Chateau neuf du Pape wouldn't go amiss. Compliments anything in my opinion.
