If you're coming down to the South Coast (Hampshire) visit the Visitor Centre of the New Forest at Lyndhurst & pick up a book of walks. Beautiful places to see off the beaten tracks; + lots of lovely coffee shops and pubs on most routes ........ oh, and you should see lots of wild ponies, donkeys and, if you're lucky, wild boar and deer! It has good (level) well signed cycle paths too.

Are you sure about the wild boar?
You will see plenty of domestic pigs out to pannage (eat the acorns) in the autumn.

A local gent told me they are wild. We see them when we drive through at different times of the year. They are ENORMOUS!
