Thanks Tigger that looks a nice variation, I hate quiche that looks like scrambled egg on soggy pastry and must admit I still use my mothers recipe of 1lb strong cheddar, onion, bacon and 2 eggs - it's very tasty and a firm family favourite

I too hate a 'soggy' quiche. I use very little milk, (about 1/4) pint and lots more grated cheese.
