Well we’ve got it home now So lets check out the bits Then take it upstairs And see if it fits. There seems to be plenty of Bolts nuts and screws, Are you going to help Or sit watching the news? It says we’ll need glue Did they put any in? If not I think there’s Some left in my tin. Look at these instructions Are they put there to tease, Or do the makers expect We can all read Chinese? It says there’s a door With a nice fancy hinge Shall I give them a call And have a good winge? Let’s count all the pieces To see what we’ve got, Then we’ll get out the tools And give it a shot. We’ve got two end pieces A bottom and top, With bits for a drawer And a fancy door stop. It says there’s a handle To put on a door, But there’s only three legs When we clearly need four. There are drawer knob’s in here Painted bright blue, Where this funny bit goes I haven’t a clue, There’s at least six bits missing From what I can see, Here’s a lock for a door, But I can’t see a key, These bits don’t seem right, Goodness knows what we’ve got Have you ever heard Of a door on a cot.?
