What Ho! Just stumbled in here on one of my wanderings from the stalag and found it is a much more convivial place to be than, well, anywhere really, so think I will stay if it is okay with you, (at least you have a bar, something that my old placement sadly didn’t). Got nurse to help me do the register/log-on thing and here I am. I gather this makes me a ‘newbie’, whatever that is. Does that mean all my functions will now work like a 17 year olds? (I have noticed an encouraging sign in this respect, since registering they are already working like a new born babies).
Before anyone asks, mine’s a single malt, whats yours? But you just have to ask Looby-Loo the barmaid for my usual and she will know what you mean.
Cheers

Ah, I note you are a mere pup, so its a saucer of milk for you I'm afraid, none of the strong stuff for you. Nurse tells me you put up a bit of a fight. Now we have all had to learn that when nuse comes for us it's best to lay very still and play dead. That way she does what she has to do and goes away again unles you are exceedingly naughty and then it will be the red hot cauterizing poker! Well, that's the reason she gave me. Watch your back and I'll join you with a milky drink before bedtime.

I always feel rather sorry for these single malts - unless it is their choice of course - but you'd think some of them would find a partner to be with for the rest of their days.

I always feel rather sorry for these single malts - unless it is their choice of course - but you'd think some of them would find a partner to be with for the rest of their days. They are like monks, especially the older they get, beautiful in their simplicity, deep of character, best enjoyed one to one and, most of all, either in silence or in listening to some very relaxing music. If when drinking a single malt you feel particularly energetic and you really want to liven things up and actually ‘do’ something you could also read a good book, nothing too racy of course, don’t want to get over excited and do yourself an injury. Cheers

Thinks about starting a dating website for 'Single Malts'. I will have to decide how to select worthy applicants.

Howdy Andy and welcome, I'll have a mug of PG and a hobnob when you're next in, ta. mmmm...hobnobs. I confess that I was once caught In flagrante delicto with a particularly delicious hobnob, my wife soon put a stop to that! :'(I wonder you are allowed to indulge in public.
