So, you've eaten the soup made from your Christmas dinner leftovers, opened the fridge, or pantry or cupboard, and there is half a Christmas pudding staring at you in a rather unattractive manner. Now, you can do one of two things. Chuck it out (admit it, your first thought) or........... make ice cream.
Christmas pudding ice cream
I tub of ice cream (I went for vanilla but they didn't have any so I bought apple and cinnamon)
Left over Christmas pudding
Liqueur - I had drambuie
Leave the ice cream to melt, put in food processorm, add pudding and a good slurp of liqueur. Whizz. Put in freezer. Done. It won't freeze entirely because of the alcohol content. So, it is soft scoop. How clever is that?

That sounds nice!
Nigella's Christmas Puddini bonbons are lovely too.

Crumble it into a cheesecake recipe? serve it with ice-cream? All drenched in the liqueur? perhaps...a Gaelic coffee?

I would just eat Christmas pudding and rum custard till it was all gone. I love Christmas pud! Me too. The Saisbug's GF (Gluten-Free) is the best...other inferior brands were attempted...the stock should at one per month last until the '09 batch is on sale...With? nothing but double cream... Attila the Hen (aka the Practice nurse) cholesterol & blood lipids? take a hike....
