Normally when an actor dies they say what part(s) they are most famous for. When I heard on Radio 4 last Thursday that the actress Natasha Richardson had a serious skiing accident, I was trying to figure who she was.
Apart form the news report of hear death on Radio Scotland that mentioned her husband was the actor Liam Neeson, I still have no idea who she was. As usual I did a google search and noted that I had never seen any of those films.

Tragic news, but like Beau, I do not recall much of her work.

Sad news indeed, if only she had been wearing a helmet.
I fancy she was more well known for being part of the Redgrave/Richardson dynastys, but as far as I know she was more of an actress on the stage rather than on film.

sad indeed for the poor family. it certainly makes you think about bumps and things. (i shiver to think how many times i wacked my head, eventually had a good curse and caried on) it's a timely reminder that - if in doubt check it out!! my heartfelt condolencies to her family. xx

I knew of her from one of Tyg1's fav films: The Parent Trap. It was the remake version with Lindsey Lohan. Since then I have seen her in other things.

I saw her in 'A Month in the Country', based on the novel by J.L. Carr, back in 1988. The irony is that Liam Neeson has already played the role of tragically bereaved husband in 'Love, Actually', and now it's happening for real, poor sod.
