I have never grown potatoes before and in my enthusiasm I planted them all on Easter Sunday. Is it too late to dig one lot up cos there's only me and mum at home and I dont want to give them all away!? Rosemarytheherb x

Not too sure about this one Rosemary.
If I were you, I'd dig up half of the surplus and keep them somewhere dark for a couple of weeks. I'd imagine you'll have to re-plant them then because they will already have chitted.
By planting them a few weeks later, at least you will have spread the cropping period.
Other than that, I can only suggest that you let them all carry on and make sure your freezer is nearly empty when they are ready!
Good luck!

Thanks I'll try putting them in the dark. So that will be something else in the dark besides me. Rose x
