I can't find a button to click that says 'view new posts' or 'todays posts'. I have to click the 'home' button to go back to the main index to look through all the sub-forums to find where people have put in new topics or active ones. Can someone tell me where it is please?

Whenever you see one of these this indicates that there are new posts on a thread since you last viewed it. Clicking on the will take you to the new post.
You have to be logged in to see this icon.

You have to be logged in to see this icon. Guess in what posting this is already mentioned? I don't care how much useful information is in it, I am NOT pinning it to the notice board. It can stay where it is. No bu99er ever looks at it anyway!
Edit - However, since you're not everybody, I have bumped it up THIS board a bit and got rid of all the nonsense that was posted afterwards and maybe, just maybe Togs (old AND new) will have a look there before asking questions.
Sometimes it's easier just to answer the question though ;D
PS - I'll do Ewan's thread later!

Ives, I don't want it pinned to the Noticeboard. This board is the best place for it.
I agree that the general chatter in that thread is best removed - if nobody objects.
If you think that that post needs improving, then improve it.
You know fine well that I am pulling your leg (wonders where the smell came form) about referencing to that post.

PS - I'll do Ewan's thread later! Crikey, if you attempt that it could take a long time. There are some good threads between Lord L and Denise R Aching about quoting on Pages 6 and 7 that might be worth retaining. And a couple of my original links are defunct now; I'd fix them myself but the thread is locked.
