I've just spent a few months in Scotland and whilst I was there sold my dad's house. Within 18 hours, by the way...... Anyway, I dug up the tulip and daffodil bulbs from the garden and brought them back to the Netherlands to plant in my garden.
When should I plant them? if I can't plant them now, how should I store them?

I would say the best time to plant them is September/October time, well it would be here in the UK anyway. Cut the stalks back a bit, if you haven't already done so, and put them in a dry, cool place until you're ready to plant them, I tend to leave mine in an old flower pot in the garage ( we haven't got a shed or greenhouse), but up on a shelf somewhere so no one can get to nibble at them.
P.S. You might want to loosely wrap them in paper too.
