The New Bonus Ball game kicks off tonight so good luck to all the players.
It's not too late to join in - just PM me if you'd like to play. It's very straight forward. There's a maximum of 49 balls so your chances of winning are much higher than the actual Lotto draw. It's £1 per week per ball (you can have more than one), payable 10 weeks at a time.
The winner is the holder of the Bonus Ball in the Saturday National Lottery Lotto draw and the prize is half the money in the pot for that week. The other half goes to Children in Need. If the winning ball is not held by anyone, the prize money rolls over until it is won.
What could be simpler? Why not give it a go?

Number 3 popped out the machine on Saturday and . . . nobody has it so we're starting with a rollover.
Perfect time for new players to join in . . . you could be in with a chance for that rollover prize next Saturday.

Well, I could hardly believe it when Number 3 popped out again on Saturday! And it's still free so we have a double rollover this week.
Welcome to Tina Biscuits and alfredhearted, who are joining us.

Number 49 this week - at least it wasn't 3 again! - and it's another free number so the prize money is building!
I'll be away for a couple of days over the weekend but I'll be sure to check the Bonus Ball number when I get home.

Number 47 popped out on Saturday - not sure how those machines know exactly which balls aren't yet in play in the Bonus Ball, but they do!
the prize money is building.
Welcome to Dibley who's joined our little band.

Not sure it's worth buying them all, Tina, but you can certainly have another number (or more) if you want to.

Sorry I didn't have a chance to post about last week's Bonus Ball number - I had to make a flying visit to the Aged Parents only to find myself beset by floods. But they had it much worse in Cumbria - our thoughts are with any of you in that part of the world.
Anyway, the Bonus Ball on 14 November was 38, which nobody has.
Players are continuing to join in so the number of balls taken is creeping up and I was pleased that some Togs at Dora's Quiz indicated they'd like to play along - just need to wheedle some money out of them!

Bonus Ball for 21 November was 35 and . . . we have a winner!
Well done, Scoo, who has scooped £38.50.
And welcome to Myles, who has joined us.

Into December and the first Saturday - 5 December - the Bonus Ball was 12. Again the number isn't yet taken so we have a double rollover.
I am amazed that, with one exception (49 on 31 October) every single time the money has rollover the Bonus Ball number has been alongside a taken number or between two taken numbers. How does it know?!
Welcome to Mary-Astrid who has joined us this week.

Saturday 12 December and the Bonus Ball was 4.
I had had a request for the number so it was reserved but it didn't actually come into play until this week so the prize rolled over.
A big welcome from everyone, I imagine, to our newest player - Mad Mary Pridmore!
I have two other balls - 39 and 42 - reserved but not paid for, so they aren't yet in play.
Some of you will get PMs about renewing this week - Sussexgirl, Sheilavetogo, Lorraine and Lou Briccant. Please contact me if you don't receive a message.
Good luck on Saturday everyone!

Congratulations to Scoo whose Bonus Ball came out again on Saturday. She scoops the £32.00 rollover.
Let's hope the rest of us are as lucky in 2010!
I'll be getting the BB book made up before Christmas so if you've made a direct payment or have a cheque in the post for your next 10 weeks could you please just send me a quick PM so that I know. Cheques particularly could be held up this week.
Merry Christmas everyone!

Happy New Year, everyone!
Sorry I've been slow to get these up - combination of family staying over Christmas and Hogmanay, new baby, poorly Aged Parent, a virus and snow!
Anyway, we haven't had a winner since Scoo scooped the pot on 19 December.
Saturday 26 December - 30 Saturday 2 January 2010 - 18 Saturday 9 January - 25 Saturday 16 January - 25
Rolling over to this coming Saturday is £35.50 and I'm pleased to say we have raised over £100 for CiN
I'll be away until the middle of next week but should get details for 23 January posted before the following Saturday.

Sorry for my absence, peeps. Family crisis.
I'll get the list of balls up as soon as I can get it done and will update this thread too. I need to check who might have come to the end of their money or be about to and will get PMs off as soon as I can too. Meanwhile, if your money has run out, you won't be knocked out of the game if the only reason is because of my absence.
