Breakfast Bards, Morning Makars and Puerile Poets, come, join us for an evening of poems, verse and worse, by, for and about TOGS. There will be wine, nibbles and the three 'R's: reading, writing and raffle, with some exciting prizes - all kept in order by your celebrity MC! Please bring words (poems, lyrics, quotations...) - whether your own or favourites by other people. There will be open mic spots available for performance poets, or you can request a piece to be read. We'll also be collecting Words for Wogan on our Poetree, so this is your chance to say thankyou for the mornings. Venue: Scottish Poetry Library, 5 Crichton's Close, Canongate, Edinburgh EH8 8DT. Tel: 0131 557 2876 Entrance £10, open mic slots extra. All proceeds to BBC Children in Need.
