A colleague has just shown me the "split decision" crossword in the middle pages of today's Daily Mail (14/12/09).
I only got as far as one across.
Do all Mail readers talk like this?
(I suppose I should warn the precious among us not to look)

Mal,
You may not be outraged by the outpouring of filth: This sort of thing may be common parlance for the likes of your goodself.
I, on the other hand, am young and impressionable.

Don't buy newspapers - go to the library, they've got lots and they don't seem to mind if you borrow them, just so long as they don't see you doing so.

I just read really old ones I find up in the loft between the rafters. The news is much more interesting and you can buy some real bargains at Rumbelows!

I happened to glance at the item in question, after reading Norm's thread, and quite frankly, I didn't know whether to be outraged or laugh, so I took it in turns.

Have to disagree there. Precious things are hard to find.
