September 2008 I got standard Tesco peace lily for my birthday. I had just officially moved in as Mum's carer so I took care of it and when it grew repotted it and repptted it and then had to to split it, I've now got 8 plants but this year NO lilies. Anyone know a reason or do I just bin them before they take over the kitchen! Rose xx

My experience of Spathiphyllum wallisii is that it enjoys being moist, and slightly potbound. It will survive in low(ish) light, but does better on a windowsill. I gave one away when it filled a 12" pot with 18" high plants.
Put the pot(s) in a dish, and, watering from the top, try not to let the dish dry out; keep the compost moist at all times. A weekly feed with whatever is to hand during the growing season will ensure that the leaf and spathe size is maintained.
