As some of you know, I had a bit of a clear out recently and sorted through some old photographs. This, combined with a conversation with a colleague yesterday reminded me that I hadn't come across my photographs of New York, a couple of which I'm quite proud off. Well, I found the electronic versions last night (too many hard drives) and the prints this morning, so if anyone would like to take a peek at New York in November, please *click this link*. Please note, these photographs were taken before the '9/11 atrocity', and the World Trade Centre does feature in some of the pictures.

I'd have been disappointed if you'd have airbrushed them "just because".
I wasn't the only one to lie on my back and take a photo of the WTC towers then!

Gulp - rushes to re-read 'Photography for Dummies'.
I have just a couple of things to say -
1. Wow!
2. I have recently come across a web site of a Scottish Photographer who makes money from photographs that IMHO are not a patch on these mainly because of his heavy handed use of filters or filter effects. BTW I am not against manipulation but it can be inappropriate at times.
I would be proud of most, if not all, of these and would happily hang a couple on my wall - might even pretend that I had taken them myself.

These pictures are all untouched - in fact the scanner has made some of them a bit green which perhaps I should have adjusted. I do have a framed print of the harbour sunset. PM me if you'd like copies of any - happy to oblige.

They are fab! I think the sunset with the Statue of Liberty is beautiful and the city skyline with the twin towers is a very poignant image now.
Well done! David Bailey watch out!

Frankly, I found the one with you in fishnet stockings and suspenders pretty tasteless.
