At the moment
I have an idea for us dads to take the kids camping one weekend, but as yet it is only the flimsiest of ideas.
Would anyone else be interested, there must be some of you out there! It also depends on finding a good location, with some good walking and maybe some nice activities like canoeing. If there's any one with any good ideas please get in touch.
No women to moan about bedtimes and whether we've the kids have washed behind their lugs or not!!! ;D

There is a place called Slenningford WaterMill which is outside Ripon - on the road to Masham and Black Sheep Brewery country - which does canooeing. You could do some walking with the boys and there are pony trekking places around as well.
Of course I realise this is not southern enough for all of you boys, but trust me the country is sooooo beautiful, the beer is so nice and the boys would get a wash whilst canooeing!
Anyway - there you go........
