My brother in law has a cottage in Gurteen, County Sligo, that he'd like to let out, which has 3 bedrooms. Great area for fishing, golfing or just walking/cycling. It's especially good for those of you who like to have a few beers and not have to wobble back very far - 5 pubs in the village (at the last count) and it's the home of Irish music, so would get those feet tapping. It's available all year round at a very reasonable rent. PM me for further details if you're interested.

Would be interested but would like to know how much and if you have some pix would be good. Would your brother in law accept pets?
Regards
Jane

Hello Maud,
My Galway Boy hankers after going home for a summer break, and I've always liked the idea of Sligo. are pets (one dog) allowed? and 13yr old tyg (polite and well behaved actually!!!!)?
Could you email me some info as to costs etc?
Thanks Seymour.

It's lovely there - my uncle plays his bodhran in and around the pubs in Gurteen.

Co. Sligo is not southern Ireland: Cos Cork or Waterford (for example) would be southern.
Or do you mean the Republic of Ireland?
