Bit embarassing doing my first post as a plug for the cottages, but a round of drinks is out until payday! We've three cottages near Westerdale - a one bed (which accommodates the less active amongst us), a 2 bed one, which doesn't, and a three bed one which accommodates the infirm, the fit and dogs as well! Take a look... www.millinderhouse.co.uk

It's gorgeous today - February is the driest month apparently (but not the warmest) and June is the wettest.
There's no such thing as guaranteed sunshine, but we have TVand radio and woodburners, which is almost as good as sunshine.
And they speak a version of English in Yorkshire and don't have strange food (although I wouldn't like to start a debate on either subject).
