What did you think of this offering? I Claudius it is not. It captured the Roman military machine well enough...if too briefly...political bits a little trite as well? More faction than historically accurate I know....but, the jury is still out here...1 down 9 to go!!!  |

It does suggest that the phrase 'behind every successful man there is a good woman' did not originate in ancient Rome.
