Apart from nematodes (ordered but not being delivered until August) and killing the adults as you find them, has anyone please got any tips on either getting rid of or drastically reducing the numbers of vine weevil?

I find something that comes in a small yellow pot does the trick. I can't think of its name because my father-in-law borrowed it and then lent it to a neighbour. When I get it back I'll post the name here but it is likely to be the same stuff that Shuggie recommends.
They are such pretty bright red little creatures aren't they?

What are, Vine Weevils? Hardly. Mine are bright red. What colour are the Kentish ones? Then you do not have Vine Weevils. Can you not see the photograph? It is not subject to geographical variation.

The ones on the leaf aren't the real problem it's the devils in the soil that do the real damage.
I just used the nematodes. I was at the end of the time for useing them apparently.
Dunno if it's worked yet.

Are these the wee beasties to which you are referring Rev? If so they are Jan's Lily Beetles.
