Thank you Leigh, that brings back memories. My mum and dad had a big weed gowing in the garden many moons ago, and they asked a mate what it could be (he was a copper). Me poor dad was terrified, so he burned it. (my hubby was horrified - a fortune up in smoke haha) xx

Not that I know anything about these things but, thanks to google, I underdstand that one is relatively short and bushy and the other one is tall and straight. I leave it to you to decide which would be more appropriate for making rope.
