Hanging Baskets

It is easy with all the rain we have been having to think that the baskets will not need watering - wrong! My FiL always emphasised the need to water hanging baskets each and very day as they would not catch as much water as they need and the wind would dry them out quickly. This was brought home to me last night when I moved ours to the new watering system I have rigged up for while on our hols. They were much too dry so have need to be soaked before we set off.

Thanks Carl as I certainly would have not watered as much as I would normally. Thinking about it when it rains it won't go into the basket even though the plants are wet.
