About ten years ago I planted a darkish red/pink clematis and I've forgotten it's name. It's something like Madam Corrier .... It suddenly popped up in the midst of my very large C.viticella Etoile Violette. Here's a little bit of it. Can anyone help me please?

Thanks so much folks,
Viticella 'Madame Julia Correvon'
That's the one that it is. I couldn't remember it's name.
Niobe is a bit richer and darker I think. I had one once, but lost it - as I thought I'd lost Julia Correvon.

I had one once, but lost it - as I thought I'd lost Julia Correvon. It's not a Mme Julia Correvon which has only 4 petals - it's more like a Madame Edouard Andre. I have one of each of these growing together, the Madame Edouard is in full bloom and Mme Julia is just coming out. Mme Julia has much smaller leaves than Madame Edouard. Niobe is a much darker red.

I'll now amend my records.

If this works Mme Julia Correvon is the first one and this one is Mme Edouard Andre which I think is the one you have, Michael

and this is my Mme Edouard Andre - or some of it - it's a bit earlier than Mme Julia Correvon so she hasn't flowered yet in this pic
