Many years ago I saw a television programme, it may have been HOW. They showed a small plant, similar to a long-stalked fern. When the 'leaves' were touched, they folded (cigar-like). I managed to find one in a garden centre and the TYGS found great amusement with it. Recently eldest TYG asked me about it, and I have to admit I had forgotten all about it. Do any of you 'Percy Thrower' folk have any ideas please? Phil

Phil, I think it's a Mimosa of some sort, also known as the sensitive plant.
