I planted 165 bulbs in the spring ready for the summer ;D and only one of them has bothered to flower . Anyone else had big failures this year ? with the hot spring and a very wet summer ? is it worth dgging them up dyring them and planting in the spring again or shall I just leave them in the ground???

I haven't got summer flowering bulbs, only spring ones, and they came up lovely.
Are you sure you planted yours at the right depth Julie?

Leave well alone, they could be sulking (well thats what the courgettes are doing) they may well come up next year...if not rotted away...if not eaten by mice...some could flower very soon, fingers crossed.

xxx If you didn't, you'd best ring Kiwi to see if she's got any unexpected flowers in her garden ..

Dear Smiffy, Have you got a white agapanthus from nowhwere? I'm still waiting for the little? beggar to show from last year. It was guaranteed (should have known at this point to be "hardy enough to put into the garden").

squirrels will eat your bulbs too. Little darlings!! leave them, they may bulk up for next summer. Rose.
