I grew this from RHS free seeds about five years ago and it has bloomed reasonably well except for this year. It started in the early spring and has been going non-stop since then. Now, today, it is still producing new flowers - although obviously there are fewer these days. Here it is: Can anyone help me with the name (which I've forgotten)? Many thanks.

Hmmm, it looks a little bit like a scabious....but I'm not sure if you can get a pink one.

I know that I grew it from seed so I shall have to read through the next free plant list from RHS and see if any name rings a bell. Why is it that some plant names just trip off the tongue and others meet with a complete blank in my mind. I suppose its the same with people.

Michael, I believe these flowers are Knautia. Here's a photo: Looks pretty similar, doesn't it?

They could very well be Adam - alternatively it's an Astrantia some thing like this one -
