I haven't used their gardening section but the book ordering service has always been very reliable.

We've taken advantage of the Telegraph gardening offers for years - they are mostly linked the Thompson & Morgan, include loads of extra freebies of young plants, bulbs, corms and seeds, many of which are not reliant upon actually buying anything - all that is required is to pay for the postage. With one exception (for a selection of young plants for hanging baskets), everything has been very healthy, came with complete instructions and has thrived. I'll be interested to hear how the Guardian offers compare, so please keep us informed.

Hi Everyone I have alwaysed used Thompson & Morgan. On the whole they are good and if any of the plants are damaged or do not grow they will send a replacement or I think you can get your money back if not satisdied. Love TerriTalks xxxx

Came home this evening to find a long Thompson & Morgan package in my room - father had assumed that anything mail order couldn't be his, and had forgotten about the apple trees he ordered through the Torygraph!
Needless to say I only garden with the aid of a chainsaw so have given him them back.
