This morning I notice that the frost has settled on the top of three of the large clumps of frogspawn on my pond. This is what it looks like. Will any of it produce frogs?

Possibly not Rev. If the spawn goes cloudy it's died I'm afraid. This happened to mine two seasons ago when the frost got to it.
I don't have any yet this year, but the frogs are starting to get in the mood. for some reason they seem to spawn quite late at my place.

I hope that some of the spawn which is under the water may escape. I've had frogs every year for the past fifteen or so, so it would be a shame to miss out this year. However, as they have to be three years old before they spawn I dare say they will be up to the 'piggy back riding' again next year.

I've had a look at them this morning and none of them look cloudy. Hopefully they will produce some frogs. Mind you, it would be like Egypt in the time of Moses if they all survived.

We're still waiting to see if our frogs spawn this year.

Even if those original ones died after the frost came on them there are still some more. They laid another lot last week.

The end of our lane is part of the route taken by hundreds of frogs each spring as they head to a nearby pond to spawn. The 'Warning- Frogs' signs have yet to be put up and we have only seen two frogs so far (one didn't make it ). They are waiting for something,,,
