Triptych by Karin Slaughter
have read A Faint Cold Fear already this week (and it's only Wednesday) and am just about to start Indelible - both are by her. Not much housework getting done this week!

Is Triptych a new one? Have all her others, and they are fab.
Also, if you like that style, Kathy Reichs is another excellent read.

Don't know how new it is - but it was in paperback on special at Tescos - it's brilliant.
Thanks Kelly - I am so keen on Kathy Reichs that I've managed to buy some of her books twice - and Patricia Cornwell (but I think her earlier ones are better)
Any one know of any others in the same vein?

Ahh, I've looked it up... it was released in April 07 in paperback here...
It's not part of the Grant County series.
As for others... Jonathan Kellerman or Faye Kellerman - both crime thrillers.
His key character is a pyschologist who helps the police with profiling, etc, and gets heavily involved in the crime solving.
Hers is a Det Sgt.

Isn't that odd... I love Jonathan Kellerman but cannot stand Faye. I have tried her books several times and just can't get into them.

That's strange, I can't get into his books but I love Faye's.
And I love watching Bones on the telly, but haven't tried the books yet. I think I need to go to the library. xx

much prefer the Kathy Reichs books to Bones (although good) - the books give your imagination the chance to creep.
Also just finished the Chemistry of Death by Beckett - I think - togdom strikes - I'll check if anyone's interested - it was excellent

Another good author in the same vein is Tess Gerritsen (hope the spelling is right) her books are very easy to read and very gripping.
