Has anyone else read it? I've been listgening to the unabridged audiobook and my head is spinning with the concept of time travelling to and from the future. Saving the last half hour as I don't want to finish.

Yes, I read it (the paper version) a couple of years ago. I didn't want to finish it either - I thought it was a wonderful novel. It takes some getting your head around, doesn't it?

I tried to read it but it was one of those books that I couldn't get into, is it worth bashing on? I was like that with the Divinci Code by Dan brown but as soon as I got passed the first bit I loved it. The Time Travellers Wife just sounds too complicated to get my head round!

I bought it today, along with Dissolution by C J Sansom, which is set in 1537 and features a solicitor named Shardlake who investigates a murder at the time of Thomas Cromwell and the dissolution of the monasteries.
Both look cracking - and Dissolution has the most beautiful cover in paperback!

Well, I finished reading the Time Traveller's Wife - and I cried buckets. I knew you would, Tigs. I did, too. I think it's one of those novels you either 'get' or you don't - I thought you'd be one of those that did.

I read it some time ago (when it first came out) and thought it fantastic. I really enjoyed it.
I don't know if I could have coped with an audio version though.. I kept looking back at the intro to the chapters to see how old they were each time.
I think I read somehwere that they were going to make a film/TV drama of the book?
